What is Astrology?

I’m pretty sure everyone knows of astrology, but many people don’t really know the full picture of it all. Most of us grow up knowing our sun sign and think that’s all there is to it and then try to identify with the traits of that sign. Secretly we wonder why we know so many people of the same sun sign that are completely different to us.

Well, there is so much more to you than your sun sign. Your rising sign for instance, but also your moon sign is just as important. Your moon sign tells you your emotional needs, what you need to feel good. Everything comes down to the positions of the sun, moon, stars, planets, nodes, asteroids, and so on at the time of your birth, giving you a unique imprint that help paint the picture of who you came here to be. This is why, in my opinion, astrology is an integral (if not the most important) part of Human Design and why the two systems complement each other so well.

Traditional Western astrology has been around for ages, the second century BC to be exact. Humanity has studied the movement of the sky for thousands of years in order to understand how we are impacted down here on Earth. Knowing the current transits can help us move with the energies, not against them. As the saying goes “As above, so below.”
